Beyond all of the capabilities included with e-Medsys PM features are available, designed to enhance the system even further, as per the needs of the practice.
These extra-enhancement features that can become part of e-Medsys PM are:

  • Doctor’s Home Page*, giving physicians the ability to view their appointment schedules, and provide secure messaging to and from the office and patients. 
  • Electronic Superbill**, whereby procedures and diagnoses are posted directly to the patient’s account during the encounter.  Prior to arriving at the front desk for check-out, all of the data will have already been entered (including charges), eliminating the need for office staff to this via paper superbill.
  • e-Prescribing / Prescription Management** can be available with the e-Medsys PM for tracking dosages, refills, formularies, drug interactions and electronic submission of prescriptions directly to the patient’s pharmacy.
  • Document Management** for categorizing and sorting within the patient’s chart, transcription directly into the patient’s chart, free-form notes and letters, and much more, all helping to reduce paper, files, and charts, and making retrieval of documents easy.
  • Lab Orders and Results** with unlimited online orders for outbound transmission to LabCorp, Quest, etc.  as well as the ability to preview, print, fax, email to labs with sign-off authorizations, etc. 
  • ExpressBill™ interface for offsite production and fulfillment of patient statements, eliminating the need to produce these on the practice level for just pennies per statement over the amount of the postage.
  • Automated Phone Reminder interface between e-Medsys PM’s Appointment Scheduler and an automated phone reminder system whereby user-defined calls are generated to patients about their upcoming appointments, or to alert groups of patients about schedule changes, etc.
